Dutch Audit Committee Institute

Welcome to the Dutch Audit Committee Institute Web site

The Dutch Audit Committee Institute (ACI) was set up by KPMG with the aim of providing members of audit committees with the required knowledge and a forum for exchanging knowledge while carrying out their tasks. ACI follows developments in the field of corporate governance in general, and audit committees in particular, both in the Netherlands and internationally.

The tasks, roles and responsibilities of audit committees - but, no doubt, also the expectations of stakeholders - appear to be constantly changing. The Dutch ACI has therefore started a number of initiatives to assist members of audit committees.

ACI initiatives include roundtable meetings, publication of the Audit Committee Quarterly, conference and board presentations, periodic distribution of time-sensitive information, and our web site.
